| my gf is NOT a car-girl. She knows nothing about car and cares very little about them. Our first couple of years together, she would really give me a hard time. She would consistently argue with me about the time I spend working on my Z. She thought I was immature to devote all my time to an inanimate object. This last period together, she has seen me go through all the stresses and heartaches of a TT conversion. I was under the impression that she thought I was a fool for putting myself through all this. A couple of weeks ago, I ran into a huge setback with the conversion, and expected her to give me the "I told you so". Instead, she said something that completely freaked me out! She goes "think of when you'll be boosting all over town with your turbos"! From a girl who didn't even know what a turbo was 6 months ago!! Lesson learned: If a girl cares about YOU, she'll automatically start caring about the things that matter to YOU. She even asked me what a turbo timer does and how a boost controller works... =) George
